Here at KS Lift Trucks, we have recently supplied two brand new Electric Combilifts to Ramsay Timber located in Appley Bridge, Wigan, to help them create a smooth working operation.
Ramsay Timber was founded in 1978 by Mr. RG Ramsay and over the years, Ramsay Timber has become a specialist company supplying hardwood and softwood timbers, including everything from mouldings, cladding, and Accoya®, to panel products.
As of recent, they have had infrastructure updates at their base in Appley Bridge, which influenced the need for new forklift trucks. Ramsay Timber has invested in infrastructure which included a new building and installation of new racking systems, to store more timber stock on site. With more timber storage, new machines were required to work within the new height and width parameters.
The electric Combilifts we have supplied are the perfect solution! The C5000 ET forklifts are ideal for busy yards that require flexibility for intermittent charging intervals. Part of the Combilift C-series, these multi-directional forklifts are designed for safe handling and used to increase the productivity of loading/unloading long and bulky loads.
The C5000 ET forklifts have an 80V/660Ah battery for efficient usage along with the ability to opportune charge ad-hoc throughout the day. They are a fantastic choice of truck for companies aiming towards a greener and more sustainable goal. They are suitable for a range of applications including guided aisles, narrow aisles, palletised goods, and long loads. This particular model has a lift capacity of 5000kg and a lift height of 9 meters, offering excellent flexibility and functionality.
