With the increasing awareness of sustainability and a strong focus on reducing their carbon footprint, family fencing firm North West Timber Treatments chose to make the switch from diesel to electric powered forklifts as part of their latest operational updates at their Walkden depot.
NWTT approached KS Lift Trucks Ltd with keen interest into electric powered forklift trucks, to which a visit to Doosan headquarters was arranged to see the vast product range Doosan offered, but also the support and parts inventory which comes with the brand. After finalising the spec suited to the customers and site requirements, an order was placed for three brand new Doosan Forklifts.
The models NWTT chose include the B25X-7 suited for working inside the building whilst the slightly larger B30X-7 and B35X-7 are to be used outside for loading and unloading deliveries. All trucks were specified with a 4730mm triple mast, autofill batteries, safety blue spot and 5-year manufacturer warranty. A personalised touch that was requested, was to have the trucks painted in NWTT’s corporate colours, a sleek dark green (very suitable considering the added green value the forklifts bring to the company). We more than happily obliged.
Before sending the forklifts out to NWTT, the forklifts underwent a strict PDI check at KS headquarters, and final touches added such as the signwriting, which was completed in house. The forklifts are now on-brand and ready to get to work, a great step towards North West Timber Treatments’ sustainability goals. Take a look at the pictures of their new machines:

A huge thank you to the Mayor family and the NWTT team for choosing KS Lift Trucks as their preferred supplier!
