A New MAN TGE Joins the Fleet
Every fleet addition is a symbol of progress, and our newest inclusion, the MAN TGE is no different. With our standard customisation, the vehicle boasts Modul Van Racking and comprehensive off-grid electrics. However, what sets it apart is its finished look, adorned in our signature KS Lift Trucks livery.
The MAN TGE isn’t just another fleet addition, though; it’s a tribute to Ged and his faithful canine companion, Winnie! With over a quarter of a century with us, Ged’s passion for mechanics and engineering remains unparalleled, and we are thrilled to hand over this new vehicle.
His unmatched commitment over the 25 years is a testament to his dedication. Not only he is a genius with mechanics, but Ged is renowned for his incredible first-time fix record. Even if a truck still needs the odd part or two, hand it over to Ged, and he will somehow get it up and running!
Outside of our workshop, Ged’s life brims with excitement. From motorbikes and push bikes to adrenaline-packed activities like climbing, he is definitely the biggest thrill-seeker in the team. His love for mechanics is also a family trait, with his eldest son, Jack, having previously worked with us for 4 years as a forklift technician before jetting off to Australia with his fiancé, where he continues his passion with Linde Australia. Additionally, George, his youngest son, worked with us briefly in the office before leaving to concentrate on cycling, where he recently finished in the top 100 of the World Championships for Cycling in Italy! His bicycle is currently on display in Preston. Their loyalty to the KS Lift team is beyond compare, and we’re proud to support Ged’s entire family in all of their endeavours, whether it be servicing forklifts or scrambling up a mountain.
Ged’s rapport with our customers is exceptional, with many often expressing their fondness for his expertise and charming nature. To us, he is more than just an engineer; he’s family. With his new MAN TGE, we hope to extend our gratitude and encourage him to journey with us for many more years.
